What is Cesy?
Cesy is an AI assistant for the CSB ERP, built for food and beverage manufacturers. Users ask questions in plain language and get answers drawn from their ERP data, company documents, and policies, returned as text, tables, or charts.
How does Cesy work?
A plain-language question is interpreted, then matched against a dedicated data warehouse fed by the CSB ERP and company documents and knowledge bases using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Each answer shows the steps taken to reach it, and follow-up questions continue in the same conversation.
How is Cesy different from ChatGPT, Copilot, or other general-purpose AI tools?
General-purpose AI tools answer from whatever they're given, such as uploaded files, exports, or messages. Here, answers come from connected ERP data and company documents directly, so nobody has to gather information before asking, and each answer shows how it was reached.
What data can Cesy answer questions about?
Answers draw from data in the CSB data warehouse, such as sales, customer, and inventory records, plus the company documents, policies, and knowledge bases your team makes available.
Where is my data stored when I use Cesy?
Your data warehouse, documents, user roles, and chat history stay at your company. Only the language model runs in CSB's own data center, reached over an encrypted connection.
Is my data used to train the AI model?
No. Customer data isn't used to train the language model behind Cesy.
Is Cesy secure?
Cesy was developed on a secure-by-design principle. All interfaces are authenticated and database access is protected. Role-based access controls what each user can see, down to individual data fields.
Do I need the CSB ERP to use Cesy?
Yes. Cesy runs on the CSB ERP and a dedicated data warehouse fed by it.
